Dr. Linda C. Yang is an Associate Professor in the Division of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Yang received her medical degree from the University of Michigan in 2002. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA in 2006 followed by a two-year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. During her fellowship training, she also received a Master of Science in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to becoming a Northwestern faculty member, she was an Instructor at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from 2008-2012 and an Assistant/Associate Professor at Loyola University Medical Center from 2012-2021.

Dr. Yang’s clinical practice focuses on minimally invasive treatment options for women with a wide variety of gynecologic issues including uterine fibroids, pelvic pain, abnormal uterine bleeding, and endometriosis. Dr. Yang’s research interests include surgical simulation, patient education tools, surgical education and patient-centered outcomes. She is a dedicated and accomplished educator and has embraced her role as a mentor for residents and medical students throughout her career.
